Drew Evans is a resilient and innovative individual who holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics. He began his career in the Air Force Reserves as an Aerial Port Technician (2T2X1), where he had the opportunity to intern with the Department of Energy’s Explosives Test Range. Drew’s military experience led him to deploy to Kyrgyzstan in 2012-2013, where he facilitated the movement of military troops from all branches to and from the front lines.
Unfortunately, Drew’s career in the Air Force was cut short when he suffered a Spinal Cord Injury (SCI) while stationed at Elmendorf Air Force Base in Alaska in 2013. Despite this setback, Drew remained determined to continue serving others, and he came up with the idea for Adapy™, a Smart Mobility System, out of the constant frustrations he faced operating his wheelchair and adaptive devices.
Drew’s and Aarons’s vision for Adapy™ began in 2015 when Drew faced daily mobility challenges. He wanted to create a solution that could help others facing similar challenges and make their daily lives easier. Connecting with Aason and seeing his dream become a reality has been a fulfilling experience for Drew, knowing that he is making a positive impact on the lives of others.
Drew’s resilience, determination, and innovative spirit have been the driving force behind his success with Adapy™. He is a true inspiration to others, and his story serves as a testament to the power of perseverance in the face of adversity.
